Landfall — Tropical Cyclone Operations

A Gulf of Mexico tropical-cyclone operations interface combining forecast tracks, coastal conditions, historical hurricanes, and regional exposure in a cinematic command display.

Landfall organizes tropical weather intelligence into a dense operational dashboard centered on the Gulf Coast. The primary map combines projected paths with basin status, New Orleans weather, Gulf water temperatures, tide gauges, advisories, and storm-signal references.

Interactive historical tracks reveal peak wind, minimum pressure, landfalls, and recorded fixes for major hurricanes, while a Gulf-city risk index compares coastal exposure. The experience draws on NHC, NWS, NOAA CO-OPS, map, radar, and satellite sources to connect live monitoring with historical context.
